 Chad Bates, Regional Manager

Chad has been in the Mortgage Banking industry since 1979 and has served in numerous executive positions during his career. He has been intimately involved with over $ 4.5 Billion in loans in his career.

Active within his community, he has served on over 30 community or national boards including Texas A & M University Department of Management Board, Episcopal Diocese of Ft Worth Board of Trustees,Texas A& M University Centerfor Entrepreneurship Board, Board of Directors and Executive Committee for Chamber of Commerce, and many others. Chad received a BBA from Texas A&M University and has served on numerous advisory boards for the College of Business.

A firm believer in education, Chad has served on numerous education foundation boards and was chosen to receive a Life Member award in the PTA by his peers.

As an award winning mortgage professional, he has been chosen as Chamber of Commerce business man of the year, and noted by the Fort Worth Star Telegram as Man of the Year. His companies have received numerous awards as well, including the prestigious Better Business Bureau Golden Torch Award for marketplace excellence and his company has been noted as a Inc 500 fastest growing company.

He now splits his time between growing his mortgage business across many states across the United States in addition to overseeing his company Legacy Financial, Inc. which has active real estate management and internet marketing divisions.
Chad has been married for over 30 years to his wife, Joy. They have 3 adult children and he has a passion for cooking and sharing his culinary expertise with his friends and family. In addition to cooking, he enjoys traveling and sports of all kinds.

Joy Bates, Senior Loan Officer

Joy serves in the capacity of Senior Loan Officer for Chad and Joy’s production team leader dealing directly with consumers and managing the overall customer service experience for our borrowers.

Joy received a BBA from the Universityof Texas at Arlington where she was also an active member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority.

Joy has a real passion for helping her borrowers and also is a Life Member award recipient by her peers in the PTA.

Joy enjoys exercise, fine dining and travelling, along with raising hers and Chad’s 3 children. She also enjoys the company of their Labrador Retriever, Champ. She has over 12 years experience in the mortgage industry after being an executive in the medical administration industry.

Aubrey Johnson, Area and Operations Manager

Aubrey has over 20 years in the mortgage industry in every aspect of the industry. He graduated with a BBA from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Aubrey has been married to his wife for almost 20 years and is the father of 2 boys. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys the game of golf.
